It reminds me of when after the tsunamis hit in 2007 (was that the right year?) that the indigenous people who also made their living from fishing were able to see the signs of the tide receding quickly and immediately sought higher ground. Many people did not respond the same way. This is an example of society becoming out of touch with nature and not being outside enough is a part of that!
